Katarzyna Piątkowska
Supply Chain Director, R. Twining and Company Sp. z o.o.

She gained many years of experience in Supply Chain Management in leading FMCG companies, such as Coca-Cola HBC, Lotte Wedel and Mars. Currently, she is the Supply Chain Director at Twinings, responsible for Planning, Logistics and Customer Service for over 121 outlets around the world.

As a member of Management Teams for many years, she has been creating strategies and conducting business transformations in international organizations in both the Sales and Supply Chain areas, which guarantees a broad understanding of the business spectrum. She is a graduate of Finance and Banking at the Faculty of Management at the University of Gdańsk and Postgraduate Studies in Logistics at the Kozminski University and managerial programs at the Institute of Management Development in Switzerland and the Georg Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Business success is always based on positive leadership and cooperation with fantastic people who, thanks to their knowledge, positive attitude and great commitment build professionalism guaranteeing very good business and financial results.

Krzysztof Maśny
Senior Executive / Supply Chain and Logistics

A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Executive MBA at the Warsaw School of Economics / University of Minnessota. With over 25 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management in various positions and companies (IBM, METRO Group, Castorama) and over 10 years of experience in company management as a Managing Director, including in regional positions in Europe.

Many years of experience in implementing various projects optimizing costs and efficiency of supply chains and logistics. In-depth knowledge of the logistics and supply chain of retail chains in a diverse range from industrial goods, temperature-controlled food, frozen foods, fish, fruit and vegetables, both in domestic and import logistics. Practical knowledge in introducing various warehouse, transport and cross-docking solutions.

Numerous implementations of IT systems supporting processes in the supply chain, including SAP systems. Winner of the Logistics Manager Award of 2009 awarded by the PSML logistics community in recognition of his professional career achievements. In 2012, Castorama Polska received a special distinction in the Supply Chain Designer market research.

Katarzyna Słabowska
Logistics Department Director, Żabka Polska

Director of the Logistics Department at Żabka Polska, since September 2015 she is responsible for managing the convenience chain supply chain (over 5,000 Żabka and Freshmarket stores), including in particular inventory, transport and warehouse logistics management in 5 logistics centers. She successfully implements projects aimed at optimizing costs, increasing productivity, standardizing processes focusing mainly on innovation and improving the quality of customer service.

She gained her experience in supply chain management in the pharmaceutical industry at ACP Pharma SA (now the Neuca Group), where she subsequently held the positions of Financial Controller for Logistics, Logistics Director and Supply Chain Director.

She started her professional career at Pricewaterhouse Coopers Sp. z o. o., where for nearly 6 years she carried out projects, among others in the field of auditing financial statements, which allowed her to develop above average analytical and controlling skills.

She is a certified auditor and is a member of ACCA. A graduate of Finance and Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics and Postgraduate Studies in Logistics and Supply Chain Management completed at the same university.

Andrzej Pawlak
Head of Business Development Central & Eastern Europe, DHL

Business Development Director in Central and Eastern Europe, for four years he has been responsible for business development and building relations with DHL Supply Chain clients – since last year not only in Poland, but also in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Russia. He has been involved in logistics for over 20 years, both on the operational and commercial side.

He gained experience in many international logistics companies managing sales, key clients and marketing departments. He began his adventure in this environment by working as a forwarder in the general cargo department.
A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and post-graduate studies in Logistics Management at the Warsaw School of Economics. Member of the Program Council of the Polish Association of Logistics and Purchasing Managers.

Piotr Sędziak
Operation Director, Roseville, ALSO Group

He has been involved in distribution logistics for nearly 20 years. He currently works as operations director at Roseville / ALSO Group. The ALSO Group is an international distributor of electronic equipment, present in 22 European countries and generating turnover of over EUR 10 MLD annually. Previously, operations director and commercial proxy in ABC Data SA, a consumer electronics distributor listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Lecturer-intern at a number of universities. Professionally, he is responsible for the implementation of strategic and operational business and operational projects, he provides logistical support for traditional sales and e-commerce, by organizing the work of the operating department on eight Central and Eastern European markets and ensuring the right flow of goods from the moment it is taken at one of over 400 suppliers until after-sales service is completed. A graduate of logistics at the Poznań School of Logistics, quality management and MBA studies at the Kozminski University in Warsaw, holder of the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate at EY Academy. Passionate about the role of IT, automation, process and project management in a modern company organization. He is also interested in e-commerce logistics and the impact of logistics on the natural environment.

Tomasz Sączek
Supply Chain Development Director, FTF Columbus

Interim Manager, an expert in logistics projects. Has 16 years of experience in logistics and supply chains. As Interim Logistics Director, he managed the process of changes in the supply chain of Baltona SA (Flemingo International Group Dubai). Currently involved in projects related to operational logistics. He cooperates with consulting companies in Poland and abroad as an expert in internships. Previously, he managed logistics operations in the Carrefour Polska supply chain department.

An experienced manager successfully managing supply chains also in the household appliances industry (ARDO, Delonghi, BEKO, Gorenje). He specializes in reducing the costs of supply chains, re-defining logistics strategies and rebuilding processes. Has excellent knowledge of the logistics industry. A member of Polish and foreign logistics organizations, advisor to the Supply Chain & Logistics Group in Dubai, certified House of Skills Business Trainer, lecturer at the Kozminski University and the Warsaw School of Economics. Regular speaker at conferences in the country and abroad.

Prof. dr hab. Maciej Szymczak
Department of International Supply Chains
at the Institute of International Economy at the Poznań University of Economics

Professor dr hab. Maciej Szymczak is a professor at the Department of International Supply Chains at the Institute of International Economy at the Poznań University of Economics (UEP). He is a graduate of the Poznań University of Technology, MA thesis in the field of computer science. Degrees of doctor and habilitated doctor of economic sciences in the field of management science, specializing in logistics at the then Poznań University of Economics. Currently, he is the Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with the Environment at this university.

His scientific interests include logistics and management of international supply chains, information technologies in logistics, and recently also urban logistics. He has published over 100 scientific papers. He is the author, co-author or scientific editor of several scientific monographs and textbooks. The effect of recent research is the author’s monograph “Evolution of supply chains” [UEP, 2015] and two monographs developed under his editors: Managing Towards Supply Chain Maturity, published in Great Britain. Business Process Outsourcing and Offshoring “[Palgrave Macmillan, 2013] and” Offshoring and the development of supply chains “published in Poland [UEP, 2014]. Among previously published compact works it is worth mentioning “Logistics in the internationalization of enterprises” [AEP 2004], “Urban logistics” [AEP, 2008],

He lectured logistics at many universities at first and second cycle, doctoral, postgraduate and MBA studies. He also lectured at the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany. He is a member of the editorial committee of the bimonthly “Eurologistics” and the jury of the competition “Innovative product for logistics, transport, production”. He participates in many research projects as well as in many expert opinions and projects in the field of logistics and transport implemented for industry and public administration. He received nineteen awards of the Rector of the Poznań University of Economics for organizational and organizational work.

Privately, he deals with photography, mainly architecture, landscape and city photography, he is interested in digital image processing, automotive stylistics and technique as well as contemporary pop-rock music. In his free time he practices cross-country cycling.

Adam Bernacki
Consultant, trainer, ICAN Institute expert in procurement and consultative sales

Expert implementing advisory and transformation projects in the areas of advisory sales management and professional procurement at the ICAN Institute, Harvard Business Review Polska. Economist, lawyer, graduate incl. Michigan State University and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. Lecturer at the ICAN Institute and Kozminski University.

He started his professional career at Royal Philips where he was responsible for implementing the best procurement practices at plants in CEE. Then he spent 3 years in China as an Export Director, selling projects in the field of environmental protection and acquiring and developing suppliers from Asia.

After returning to Europe, he worked for 5 years as the Managing Director of a consulting company dealing with the reorganization of the procurement process, implementing and supervising consulting and optimization projects carried out for leading European companies.
As a MasterClass participant prof. Joe Sandora, graduated from the Executive Development Master in Advanced Procurement Management program at Michigan State University.

Jacek Czapliński
FCIPS (Fellow of the British Procurement Institute)

Mr. Jacek Czapliński, a high level manager / leader, has extensive experience in both industry and consulting. MBA graduate. In his career, he was the Executive Director for Procurement at PKN ORLEN SA (the dominant producer and distributor of petroleum and petrochemical products in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe), Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at V&S Luksusowa SA (a subsidiary of the Swedish concern V&S, the owner of the Absolut brand), Director at the PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting company.

During 8 years of work at Orlen, together with his team, he transformed the procurement function from the role of a cost center to the role of a value creator. His restructuring activities at V&S resulted in a nearly threefold increase in the company’s value in four years. At PwC, he conducted numerous consulting projects for companies in many industries and countries.

Jan Stasiak
Procurement Director, North and Central Europe, Bunge

Many years of practice and expert in the management and restructuring of the Operations (Shopping and Logistics) area of ​​large international corporations in the FMCG and energy sectors. Has international design experience in the areas of consolidation and optimization of procurement processes, construction and reorganization of multi-department procurement organizations. He worked, among others for the Steinhoff group, Bittburger, Carlsberg Polska SA, Carlsberg Breweries A / S, Baltic Beverages Holding AB., PGE SA

Currently, he is conducting a project to restructure and consolidate the procurement area in the Bunge Group companies in Poland, and also oversees the process of building and implementing a new procurement operational model in Northern and Central Europe.

Jan Stasiak is a graduate of the University of Szczecin. He also completed many international courses and training (including The Orkla Carlsberg Procurement Academy, The George Washington University, School of Business and Public Management and ICAN Institute – Management 2011 – Harvard Business Program). Member of PSML and CIPS. He has also been a lecturer at the Warsaw School of Economics for many years, where he teaches procurement strategies at the Postgraduate Studies of Procurement Managers.

Jarosław Wojciechowski-Boruta
Deputy Financial Director, Director of the Procurement and Administration Department, PLAY

From 1996, he was associated with the telecommunications industry, he was involved in two start-ups of mobile operators (Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa sp. Z oo – currently T-Mobile Polska and PLAY). For several years he held various managerial positions in the area of ​​finance, since 2008 he has been responsible for procurement for the fastest growing telecommunications operator in Poland.

He has extensive experience in finance and indirect procurement. A graduate of the College of Management and Oxford Brooks University, he completed the Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School. Member of the Polish Association of Logistics Managers.
